Quanterness Chambered Cairn is a Neolithic burial monument on Mainland, Orkney, Scotland[1]. Excavations in the 1970s revealed an Iron Age roundhouse built into the cairn around 700 BC[1]. The burial chamber contained remains of at least 157 individuals alongside pottery and artefacts[1]. The site was designated a scheduled monument by Historic Environment Scotland in 1929[1]. It stands at the base of Wideford Hill.
