Pumamarka, San Sebastián

Pumamarka (Aymara and Quechua: puma meaning "cougar" and marka meaning "village", i.e. "puma village") is an archaeological park in Peru's Cusco Region, situated in the San Sebastián District on the left bank of the Pumamarka River[1]. The site was declared a National Cultural Heritage (Patrimonio Cultural) of Peru by the National Institute of Culture[1].
