Idebessos was an ancient Lycian city located at the foot of the Bey Mountains to the west of the Alakır river valley in the Kumluca district of Antalya Province, Turkey[1]. The ruins are situated 21 kilometres north-northwest of Kumluca near the village of Kozağacı[1]. The site is overgrown with forest and hard to reach[1].
