The Tomb of the Eagles (Isbister Chambered Cairn) is a Neolithic chambered tomb on the cliffs of South Ronaldsay in Orkney, Scotland, built around 3000 BC. Discovered by farmer Ronald Simison in 1958, the 8.2 m long rectangular chamber is divided into five compartments by pairs of stone orthostats. The tomb contained roughly 16,000 human bones from about 340 individuals and 70 talons of the white-tailed sea eagle, though the eagle bones were deposited up to 1,000 years after the cairn ceased its original use. Entry requires crawling through a 3 m tunnel.
