Lungkeng

Lungkeng is an archaeological site located near the village of Ehluan in Hengchun Township, Pingtung County, southern Taiwan. It dates to the pre-ceramic period of Taiwan's prehistoric era, approximately 5,000 to 6,000 years ago, making it one of the earliest known human settlement sites on the island. Excavations have revealed stone tools and other artifacts that provide crucial insights into the lives of Taiwan's Neolithic inhabitants.[1]
