Huilai Monument Archaeology Park

A prehistoric archaeological site in Xitun District, Taichung, Taiwan, discovered in 2002 by Tunghai University student Chen Sheng-ming. Excavations revealed cultural remains spanning from 3,600 years ago to 100 years ago, with pottery fragments authenticated as over 4,000 years old. The site covers approximately 1.5 square kilometres, and the Taichung City Government designated it a City Archaeological Area before converting part of it into a public park with replicas of excavation findings.
