Broch of Culswick

The Broch of Culswick is an unexcavated coastal Iron Age tower in the Shetland Islands, Scotland. Standing about 3 metres tall on a rock platform, it has panoramic views of Foula and Vaila islands, Fitful Head, and Fair Isle to the south. Its most distinctive feature is a massive triangular lintel stone over the entrance, which remains partly filled with rubble. Historical drawings from 1774 and 1805 show the structure survived remarkably well until those dates[1].
