Paleolithic cave paintings in Mankhan Sum, Khovd Province, Mongolia [1]. Painted images of stags, buffalo, ibex, lions, argali sheep, camels, elephants, and ostriches rendered in mineral-based rosy and brown pigments from walls to ceiling [1] [2]. Some animals overlap in palimpsest layers, and others are depicted with dots [1] [3].
