GuatemalaCerro Quiac is a Maya archaeological site at 2,635 m elevation in the Guatemalan Highlands. When archaeologists visited in 1970, five stone sculptures were documented; by 1977 only four remained[1]. The sculptures featured figures and geometric designs[1]. The site continues to host contemporary Maya religious ceremonies[1]. Located in northeast Cantel municipality within Chirijquiac hamlet, Cerro Quiac overlooks the Plains of Urbina[1].
