Lang Rongrien is a rock shelter and Hoabinhian habitation site in the upland Krabi River valley of southern Thailand, dating to 39,000–28,000 years before present [1]. Excavated in 1974 under Douglas Anderson's direction, the site yielded rich Pleistocene archaeological finds despite some disturbance from soil collection [1][2]. Access remains difficult, requiring either a steep trail below the shelter or a narrow ridge approach from the north [1].
