Perga (or Perge) was an ancient city in Pamphylia, originally a Lycian settlement that became a Greek city. It later served as the capital of the Roman province of Pamphylia Secunda. Today its ruins lie 15 kilometres east of Antalya in Turkey's Antalya Province [1].
