PanamaMonagrillo is an archaeological site in south-central Panama with ceramics radiocarbon-dated to 2500–1200 BC [1]. It provides the earliest known example of ceramics in Central America and one of the earliest examples of maize agriculture in the region [1]. The site reached a maximum living area of 1.4 hectares and lies along Panama's most fruitful seacoast [1].
