Tune Stone

The Tune Stone is a runestone dated to circa 200–450 AD, inscribed in the Elder Futhark script using Proto-Norse language[1]. It was discovered in 1627 embedded in the church yard wall of Tune church in Østfold, Norway, and is now housed in the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History in Oslo[1]. The stone is possibly the oldest Norwegian attestation of burial rites, inheritance, and beer[1].
