Cromlech de Mzoura

Msoura is a megalithic stone circle in northern Morocco, dated to the 4th–3rd century BC[1]. Located near Chouahed village, 15 km southeast of Asilah, the site comprises 167 monoliths surrounding a rectangular tumulus measuring 58 m long, 54 m wide, and 6 m high[1]. The tallest monolith, known as El Uted (the peg), rises more than 5 m, while the average height of the standing stones is 1.5 m[1]. Local legend claims the site is the tomb of the giant Antaeus from Greek mythology[1]. The monument likely marks the beginnings of the Kingdom of Mauretania[1].
