Certova pec ("Devil's Oven") is a small karst cave in the Povazsky Inovec mountains near Radosina, western Slovakia. The cave extends roughly 27 metres into dolomite limestone and contains evidence of human habitation dating back approximately 38,400 years during the Paleolithic period. Multiple occupation layers demonstrate a long history of human presence, with Szeletian and Mousterian archaeological evidence indicating Neanderthal activity at the site. Stone tools and gastropod shell remains suggest connections between the cave's prehistoric inhabitants and populations from the Black Sea region. The cave is a protected natural monument due to its paleontological significance and is freely accessible year-round via three marked hiking trails.
