Gerulata was a Roman military camp and fort located near present-day Rusovce, a borough of Bratislava, Slovakia [1]. Established in the 2nd century AD, it served as part of the fortified frontier defence system of the Roman Empire [1]. The fortress was situated in the Roman province of Pannonia [1]. It was abandoned in the 4th century AD following the withdrawal of Roman legions from Pannonia [1].
