Scladina

Scladina (or Sclayn Cave) is a Neanderthal occupation site in the Andenne hills of Belgium, where excavations since 1978 have yielded over 13,000 Mousterian stone tools [1]. The site's stratified deposits span multiple Ice Age periods, with the remarkable discovery in 1993 of the nearly complete skeleton of a young Neanderthal child, one of the oldest known in western Europe [2].
