Unlike the cramped 3-4 foot square passages of the older megalithic pyramids, the Black Pyramid features wide descending passages with stairs cut into the floor, clearly designed for upright walking and human access. The Bent Pyramid is described as having the most cramped entrance by comparison. Modern visitors can still appreciate this design thanks to handrails and wooden floors added to these passages. 🚶♂️🏛️
