Mastaba 17 built without entrance for deceased occupant. Mastaba 17 has no entrance passage constructed to reach its chambers The substructure was sunk into bedrock pit and covered with superstructure Flinders Petrie excavated by tunneling from the middle 48 ft deep

This mastaba has NO entrance passage! Flinders Petrie had to tunnel from the middle to reach it. The plugged passage dead ends — dummy architecture, not functional.
