Dacian Fortresses of the Orăştie Mountains

The six Dacian Fortresses of the Orăștie Mountains in Romania were built in the 1st centuries BC and AD in the murus dacicus style [1]. These fortifications were created as protection against Roman conquest [2]. They played an important role during the Roman-Dacian wars [2].
