Oushiko Shrine

Oushiko Shrine is a Shinto shrine located on the slopes of Hōden Mountain in Takasago City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan [1] [2]. The shrine enshrines a massive stone structure known as the "Stone Hōden" (石の宝殿), revered as the shrine's sacred object of worship [1] [3]. Oushiko Shrine is classified as one of Japan's "Three Mysteries" (日本三奇), together with Shiogama Shrine's salt cauldron in Miyagi Prefecture and Kirishima Higashi Shrine's Heavenly Reverse Halberd in Miyazaki Prefecture [1] [3].
