Partiscum was a Roman fort in the province of Dacia, situated along the limes of the Marisus (Mures) river. It was the most western fort of Dacia, positioned at the frontier of the empire. Its ruins are located near Szeged, Csongrad-Csanad County, Hungary, with recent research indicating the site was near the Tisza river at the old Castle of Szeged.[1]
