Gruta do Gentio II is a ceremonial archaeological site near Unai, Minas Gerais, Brazil, with occupation spanning 12,000 to 410 BP across two cultural horizons. The older hunter-gatherer layer (12,000-8,125 BP) yielded lithic tools, shell adornments, and animal remains, while the horticultural horizon (from 3,490 BP) produced Una tradition pottery, basketry, and evidence of maize cultivation. The cave served as a seasonal burial site, containing primary and secondary interments including the naturally mummified remains of an 8-9 year old child named Acaua, one of Brazil's oldest mummies. Pictographs and petroglyphs adorn the limestone walls.
