Researchers Mark and Lorie Nicholas theorize about Chinese contact at Cahokia in the 1400s based on the Piasa Bird glyph near Alton and jade found in graves. Lorie Nicholas received a book from an Admiral about the expedition. Their books 'Chasing Dragons' and 'To The Gates of Fang' explore this fringe theory. Note: academia largely does not accept pre-Columbian Chinese presence. This is a theory under debate. 🏺
