A proposed timeline of cataclysms: Younger Dryas ~12,900 years ago, Laschamp geomagnetic event ~41,000 years ago, Mount Toba eruption ~74,000 years ago. Mainstream Egyptology attributes Great Sphinx weathering to wind and sand erosion, while alternative researchers like Robert Schoch have proposed water erosion theories dating the monument earlier. Lake Van in Turkey shows evidence of early human habitation, though claims of 40,000-year-old civilization there remain speculative fringe hypotheses unsupported by mainstream archaeology. 📜
