▶

Key facts

• The video interprets the High Man landscape feature at Farard as representing Orion; this identification is the presenter’s theory, not an established archaeological conclusion.
• The video says “Bealach na Bó Finne” means “way of the white cow” and associates it with the Milky Way.
• The proposed links between Cullen, Donore, Slane, Mellawn, Mellifont Abbey and Orion are interpretations presented in the video.
• At the June solstice, the Sun reaches the northernmost point of the ecliptic; the claim that this occupies Orion’s hand is part of the video’s argument.
• The legend of Garrett’s Fort’s sleeping army and six-fingered warrior is local folklore and does not establish that the landscape encodes ancient stellar knowledge.
