Valley Temple of Khafre's massive blocks and possible older origins. Blocks weigh 100-200 tons each, some estimated even higher Structure has limestone core cased in granite Alabaster floor covers the interior
The Valley Temple originally had multiple levels with granite and limestone casing on all sides. Robert Temple found keystone cuts on the roof using the same technique found in Peru and Turkey. Geometric principles following the golden section appear throughout walls and angles. Alabaster floors were sourced from deep ground near water sources, while red granite was shipped 560-600 miles from Aswan. Water channels suggest ceremonial use for Osiris rituals, and some stones show mirrored patterns on opposite walls.
