Above 4,000 metres and more than 13,000 feet above Cosma in Peru's Ancash region, Sapo Rumi is a megalithic site with precisely cut rock boxes, fitted 'lock' stones, scoop marks and missing lids. Some stones are described as quartz-rich and sounding when struck. Craig Dengel has documented and researched the site. The video argues that the missing lids were intended to hide something from someone, but that is the presenter's theory rather than a settled archaeological conclusion.

Key facts
- The relevant account places Sapo Rumi above Cosma in Peru's Ancash region at over 4,000 metres (more than 13,000 feet). The post's 14,000-foot/5,000-metre equivalence is inaccurate: 14,000 feet is about 4,270 metres.
- Documented features include precisely cut stone boxes, fitted 'lock' stones, scoop marks and missing lids; some stones are described as quartz-rich and sounding when struck.
- Craig Dengel has documented and researched the site, but the available evidence does not establish that archaeologists newly discovered it.
- The claim that the lids were removed to conceal something is the video presenter's interpretation, not an established finding by researchers.
